These images show Izumo Taisha Shrine, which I visited again in March after a long time.

It had been decades since my last visit.

I took a quick flight from Itami Airport in Osaka to Izumo Airport.

It was easily accessible, about a 40-minute direct bus ride from the airport.

We arrived from Osaka in no time at all.

Upon arrival, I paid my respects to many gods.

It makes sense that in October, the month of the gods, all the myriad gods of Japan gather together.

At Izumo Taisha Shrine, the proper way to pray is not the usual two bows, four claps, and one bow.

At the entrance to Izumo Taisha Shrine, there was a statue depicting the myth of the White Rabbit of Inaba.

On the way back, I took the Ichibata Electric Railway, commonly known as "Bataden," to Izumo City Station.

I then transferred to the Limited Express Yakumo and returned to Osaka via Okayama Station.

The day trip was quite demanding, but it was very refreshing.

I would definitely like to visit again.

I hope you all have a fun and wonderful Golden Week.
