This is an announcement about an exhibition that used washi paper handled by Ono Shoten. An exhibition of picture book authors, "Let's Play with Picture Books, First Time? Question Marks," was held at the Fukuoka City Science Museum in Hakata from March 21, 2025. One of the picture book authors, Kikuchi Chiki, used our washi paper to create the exhibition space.

This is a blog about a visit to a papermaking artisan's workplace where they made a prototype of handmade washi paper for interior products. After the COVID-19 pandemic, I visited a papermaking artisan's workplace for the first time in about six years. This time, they layered two or more layers of washi paper and made a prototype using a papermaking method called Sukikomi, which is different from regular washi paper.
