What are these small HARIBAKO paper boxes for incense that you can choose from a variety of chiyogami paper to match the image of the fragrance?
This is an example of a palm-sized box made using chiyogami and folk art paper. We received an inquiry from a company that produces its own unique incense, requesting a custom-made box to store their newly developed incense. It was an interesting project where they selected three patterns from a wide variety of chiyogami to match the image of the incense's fragrance. A distinctive feature is that each box is carefully wrapped and finished by hand.

What is a palm-sized box made with chiyogami paper designed to enhance the value of products for the French market?
This is an example of a custom-made box for storing products, originally produced for the French market. We received a request from a shop in Normandy that primarily deals in Japanese paper products. We created two custom-made, palm-sized boxes with a lid-over design to store their goods. The lid is covered with traditional Japanese paper (chiyogami), and the body is covered with colored folk art paper.
Each box is carefully wrapped and finished by hand.

This time, they layered two or more layers of washi paper and made a prototype using a papermaking method called Sukikomi, which is different from regular washi paper.
